Top 5 Waterfalls in the Hamilton/Niagara Area that You Must See by Jonathan Hull Magic

Water, whether still or in motion, has so
great an attraction for the lover of nature, that the
most beautiful landscape seems scarcely complete without it.
There are no effects so fascinating as those produced by the
reflections in nature’s living mirror, with their delicacy of form,
ever fleeting and changing, and their subtle combinations of colour.

Waterfalls are one of Ontario's greatest treasures: A perfect, family outing!

While doing research, I discovered a fabulous book called:

Waterfalls of Ontario

For your (and my) interest and benefit, my family and I have explored many of the waterfalls in the Hamilton/Niagara Area, and I present to you what I consider to be my top 5 pick of the best of the best.

1) Devil's Punchbowl Falls

Devil's Punchbowl Falls

Devil's Punchbowl Falls

Devil's Punchbowl Falls will fall sideways with a heavy wind!

Devil's Punchbowl Falls flows sideways!

Waterfall Specifications:

Height: 37 metres
Width: 3 metres
Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario
GPS Coordinates: 43.21031N 79.7558W

When you go to Devil's Punchbowl Falls, you are getting 2 falls for the price of one!

In the same area, you also have Devil's Punchbowl Falls (Lower) pictured here.

2) Albion Falls

Albion Falls

Albion Falls has a wonder all it's own! I've been to this falls twice, and the experience felt great!

Albion Falls

Waterfall Specifications:

Height: 19 Metres
Width: 18 Metres
Location: Hamilton, Ontario
GPS Coordinates: 43.200339, -79.819912

3)  Webster Falls

The area around Webster Falls is a romantic place full of leafy pathways, green picnic areas, and, of course, the roaring falls itself!

Webster Falls
I have taken my family to Webster Falls more often then any other waterfall location.

Waterfall Specifications:

Height: 22 Metres
Width: 30 Metres
Location: Hamilton
GPS Coordinates: 43.2762, -79.9809

4) Tew Falls

Tew Falls

Tew Falls is the tallest waterfall in Hamilton and is almost the same height as Niagara Falls (which is 51 metres)!

Tew Falls

This falls is about a 10-15 minute walk from Webster Falls. I would recommend seeing both on the same day!

Waterfall Specifications:

Height: 41 Metres
Width: 9 Metres
Location: Hamilton
GPS Coordinates: 43°16′51″N 79°58′42″W

5) Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

Because Niagara Falls is so famous, I was considering leaving it out of the list, because the choice is obvious!

Niagara Falls

The area around the falls is a romantic place with adventurous boat rides on Maid of the Mist.

Secret Garden - Niagara Falls
There's a secret garden for you to explore!

The Skylon Tower offers great views of the area and also includes some history of the region.

Skylon Tower

Niagara Falls, like any falls, is eroding by a foot each and every year! Please visit it soon! In 50,000 years, Niagara Falls...will be gone!

Waterfall Specifications:

Height: Ranging from 21-30 Metres
Width: Horseshoe: 790 Metres; American Falls: 320 Metres
Location: Niagara Falls
GPS Coordinates: 43.081528, -79.064240

Warning! Waterfalls can be extremely dangerous! Please use common sense before visiting any falls.

This beautiful, magic moment was brought to you by Jonathan Hull Magic!

Thanks very much for these! Travelling to Niagara in a few weeks so will check these out, too (found them using Google images for Niagra!)
Oh, and been to mississauga before too; loved it (and Square one) but especially the friendly people!
Thanks again!
